FamilyNames is a name management plugin for Autodesk Revit. Standardization is a process in which a given name is broken into constituent parts — for collaborative BIM projects, it's a core requirement.

With a single click you can check and adjust the naming of all families and types against your rules. Any changes sync immediately back to Revit — no manual tracking, no copy-paste errors.

Add a prefix, suffix, or both to a selection of names in a single click. Perfect for applying project code standards.

Validation Rules

Define naming rules that each name must conform to. The app flags non-conforming names so you can correct them before syncing.

Display Parameters

Add extra columns to the table showing family or type parameter values — giving you full context while renaming.
