AI Assistant

Describe the task in plain English. The assistant writes IronPython, wires a Composer graph, or builds an App — grounded in the real Revit API for your installed version. When a script fails, it reads the error, fixes the code, and retries automatically.

Scripts

Write and run IronPython in a Monaco editor with autocomplete for Revit category names, parameters, and enums. Typed inputs and outputs turn a snippet into a reusable component. Every run reports which elements changed.

Apps

Build a windowed UI on a drag-and-drop canvas — labels, text inputs, lists, buttons, grid layout. Wire controls to scripts and graphs. Run inside Rhenergo or deploy the App to the ribbon.

Composer

SDK Helpers

A built-in Pick node pauses a graph or App and waits while you select elements directly in the Revit model. For scripts that write to the model, the SDK exposes a Transaction helper that wraps your edits in a single undoable Revit operation.

Build an App inside Rhenergo, click Deploy. It becomes its own button on the Revit ribbon — your icon, your name, visible to everyone on the project. They click it directly from Revit without ever opening the editor.

Where your
data goes

A per-send transparency view labels exactly what is being sent and whether it stays local, may be forwarded, or goes to a remote provider. Only script text, element counts, and schema summaries leave the machine. Never full geometry, never proprietary model data.

Rhenergo's documentation describes a command guard that refuses obviously dangerous, non-Revit operations before a script runs; a prompt-injection firewall that frames untrusted project content and redacts secrets from anything sent to a provider; local-first storage keeping scripts, graphs, and apps on your machine as compact binary records; and support for your own API keys across Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google Gemini — or fully offline operation against a local Ollama instance. Recommended models: Claude Opus 5, GPT-5, Gemini 2.5 Flash.
